This is a very enjoyable book for people like me who enjoy inducing a little paranoia into their day. I had planned to add lots of quotes, but...I will just say the book is out there, those who will gain something probably already know this argument.

The more I read of this book, the more I love it. I keep finding paragraphs I want to quote, but there are just too many.
ReplyDeleteI do disagree with the author's assertion that the Space Race was a waste. I think it was fascinating. But otherwise, I get it.
What would happen to our economy if more parents actually took their kids out of the prison we call schools? They would probably have to enforce schooling more because we are so dependent on two incomes to keep the economy up.
I believe more and more firmly in the true solidarity and natural family unit as I age. Biology should trump in most cases.
